Yadav faces over 15 criminal cases and charges filed by the police in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, including accusations of extortion, coercive loan settlements for private financiers, armed intimidation, and earning commissions from illegal activities. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) initiated a money laundering investigation against Yadav last year, which was sparked by the murder case of a businessman.

During raids conducted by the ED in Delhi and Gurugram, Haryana, investigators uncovered five luxury vehicles, cash amounting to ₹17 lakhs, bank lockers, several incriminating documents, and various digital devices associated with Yadav and his associates. The evidence collected suggested significant involvement in illicit financial activities.

Rao Inderjeet Yadav is known as the owner and primary operator of a music company, Gem Records Entertainment Pvt Ltd, which functions under the brand name ‘Gems Tunes’. Established in 2006, ‘Gems Tunes’ serves as a video-on-demand platform that produces and distributes regional music in Haryanvi, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Yadav reportedly leads a lavish lifestyle and has gained prominence on social media, boasting over 1.5 million followers on Instagram. His posts often feature interactions with Bollywood celebrities, underscoring his influence within entertainment circles.

Criminal Activities and Investigations

Yadav’s alleged involvement in criminal activities includes murder, extortion, coercive loan settlements from private financiers, fraud, cheating, illegal land acquisition, and violent acts. The Enforcement Directorate described him as a “strongman and enforcer,” who played a critical role in facilitating coercive resolutions for high-value financial disputes.

During investigations, authorities discovered that Yadav had established a website portal intended for negotiating loan settlements between corporate entities and private lenders. This further highlighted his deep involvement in the financial misconduct under scrutiny.

In December 2024, Yadav was linked to the murder of private financier Manjeet Dighal, with a gang led by Himanshu Bhau claiming responsibility for the crime. Following this incident, Yadav reportedly fled the country. His name emerged again in July of the following year in connection with a shooting at the home of singer Rahul Fazilpuria, where Yadav and his associates were implicated in the murder of Fazilpuria’s aide, Rohit Shaukeen, in Gurugram.
