Google Pixel 11 Series Specifications and Features Leaked Ahead of Launch

Upcoming Pixel Lineup Details

Google is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone series, with recent leaks revealing comprehensive specifications for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The new lineup is expected to feature a Tensor G6 chipset, enhanced cameras, and slight design modifications, with improvements aimed at boosting performance and display quality.

The upcoming series will reportedly utilize a 2nm Tensor G6 chip, codenamed Malibu. This chipset configuration is designed with a 1 + 4 + 2 CPU setup, which comprises one ARM C1-Ultra core operating at 4.11 GHz, four ARM C1-Pro cores at 3.38 GHz, and two ARM C1-Pro cores at 2.65 GHz. Additionally, the Tensor G6 will be equipped with a PowerVR C-Series GPU, the Titan M3 security chip, a MediaTek M90 modem, a TPU named Santafe, and a GXP image processor called Metis.

Specifications of the Standard Pixel 11

The base model, Google Pixel 11, codenamed Cubs, is anticipated to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2424 pixels and a refresh rate ranging from 60 to 120 Hz. The screen is expected to support 240 Hz PWM dimming and offer peak brightness levels up to 3,100 nits, including 2,000 nits in HDR. The device is likely to provide options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and a battery capacity rated at 4,840 mAh. Notably, it may introduce a new main camera sensor, known as chemosh, with around 50 megapixels. Color variants may include black, green, pink, and purple.

Expected Features of Pixel 11 Pro Models

The Google Pixel 11 Pro, codenamed Grizzly, is expected to retain the same 6.3-inch OLED display size but will enhance the resolution to 1280×2856 pixels, with a refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz. Brightness capabilities could reach up to 3,600 nits at peak and 2,450 nits during HDR content. The Pro model may feature configurations with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and a slightly smaller battery rated at 4,707 mAh. It is also anticipated to have new main and telephoto camera sensors, referred to as bastet and barghest.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL, known internally as Kodiak, is likely to boast a larger 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1344×2992 pixels, featuring the same 1 to 120 Hz refresh rate. Expected brightness levels and RAM options should align with those of the Pro variant, while the larger model could house a 5,000 mAh battery. Similar camera enhancements are also in store for this variant.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold Features

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold, codenamed Yogi, is anticipated to introduce a foldable inner display with a resolution of 2076×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz. The internal screen may achieve brightness levels up to 3,500 nits at peak and 2,050 nits in HDR. Its exterior display is said to offer a resolution of 1080×2342 pixels, with a refresh rate of 60 to 120 Hz and peak brightness of 3,600 nits. This foldable model is also expected to feature configurations with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and a 4,658 mAh battery, along with the same main camera sensor as the standard Pixel 11.

Design Tweaks and Feature Updates

Leaks suggest significant design changes for the Google Pixel 11 Pro models and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google may eliminate the temperature sensor, substituting it with a compact RGB LED strip integrated into the camera bar, a feature tentatively referred to as Pixel Glow. This new feature is reportedly designed to operate similarly to the lighting mechanism seen in the Nothing Phone 2.

Furthermore, it has been reported that Google’s anticipated IR-based face unlock system, known as Project Toscana, will not be included in the Pixel 11 series as it remains under development and is not yet ready for deployment.
