ICAI Releases CA Final and Intermediate Admit Cards for May 2026 Exams

Admit Card Availability

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the release of admit cards for the CA Intermediate and Final examinations scheduled for May 2026. As of April 17, candidates who are registered for the exams can download their hall tickets from the official ICAI e-services portal.

To access their admit cards, candidates will need to use their login credentials on the ICAI portal. The release of the admit cards comes in preparation for the upcoming examinations.

Revised Exam Schedule

ICAI has made updates to the exam schedule for the CA Intermediate course. The Group I examinations are now set to take place on May 5, 7, and 9, superseding the original dates of May 3, 5, and 7. Similarly, Group II examinations have been rescheduled to May 11, 13, and 15, replacing the earlier dates of May 9, 11, and 13.

Despite the changes to the dates, ICAI has confirmed that there will be no alterations to the exam timings. All papers will continue to take place from 2 PM to 5 PM as previously scheduled.

Steps to Download Admit Cards

To download the ICAI CA admit card for May 2026, candidates can follow these specified steps:

Step 1: Access the official ICAI e-services portal.

Step 2: Log in with your SSP ID and password.

Step 4: Verify the details shown on the screen.

Step 5: Download and print the admit card to present on the exam day.

Candidates are reminded that a printed copy of the admit card is required for entry to the examination centre, making it an essential document.

Clarification on Exam Authority Reports

ICAI has addressed recent media reports suggesting that a new authority may be established by the government to oversee CA examinations. The institute has described these reports as “factually incorrect” and clarified that there is no official confirmation regarding such a proposal from the relevant ministry.

The reports have caused some confusion among candidates for the examinations. In response, ICAI has urged students and stakeholders to disregard unverified information and stay focused on their preparations for the upcoming May examination cycle, reiterating its dedication to the student community.
