Eligibility for Second Examinations
As per the National Education Policy 2020, the MPBSE is providing this second opportunity for students to improve their marks in failed subjects or raise their overall scores, replacing the previously conducted supplementary examination.
Application Process
Students interested in participating in the second board examination can submit their application forms at MP Online kiosks or via the official website mpbse.nic.in. They will need to provide their subject details, roll number, and make a cash payment based on their main examination results.
It is mandatory for students to select the subjects they failed in while applying for the second examination. Choosing subjects in which students have already passed is optional.
Mark Sheets and Examination Timings
The mark sheets for the second examination will be issued following the same procedure as for the main examination. The second examination for high school will be conducted from May 7 to May 19, while the higher secondary examination will take place from May 7 to May 25. The exams will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM at designated examination centers.
Registration Deadline
The final date to register for the Class 10 high school and Class 12 higher secondary examinations is April 22.
Institution Guidelines
Students are required to fill out the online application form for the second examination through the same institution where they submitted their application for the first examination, along with the prescribed fee.
Practical Assessments
In the second examination, only those students who did not pass their practical or internal assessments will be eligible to retake the practical exams. Students who already passed in these practical components will not be allowed to participate in the second chance examination. When calculating results for the second examination, the marks obtained in practical and internal assessments from the first main examination will be retained for subjects in which students passed.
