In light of the election results, Saraogi dismissed allegations made by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) regarding irregularities and voter suppression. He noted that claims suggesting TMC supporters obstructed voters were unfounded.

Just a day prior to the announcement of the cabinet expansion, the BJP celebrated a historic achievement in the assembly polls, as the party is set to form its first government in West Bengal.
