Students are urged to carefully verify all printed details and report any discrepancies directly to SBTET. The rank card is crucial, as it will be required during document verification at AP POLYCET helpline centers prior to the registration for web-based counseling.

Admission Process and Special Course Eligibility

Admission to diploma-level programs—covering both engineering and non-engineering disciplines—at government, aided, and private polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh will be based on the results of this examination. However, students interested in specialized courses such as Hotel Management and Catering Technology, as well as D. Pharmacy, must have completed their Class 12 (10+2) education and are not required to take the POLYCET.

Online Counseling and Seat Allotment

The seat allotment process following the counseling will be conducted online. Candidates who register will need to lock their preferences for colleges and courses through an option entry system. A fee of Rs 800 will be required to download the seat allotment letters. For those preferring personal assistance, POLYCET helpline centers are available for completing option entries in person.
