PSEB Punjab Board 12th Result 2026: Websites to Check

Announcement of Results

The Punjab School of Education Board (PSEB) is set to release the results for class 12 today at 12:30 PM. Students will be able to access their results on the official PSEB website, pseb.ac.in. Additionally, the results will also be available on DigiLocker.

The PSEB class 12 examinations took place from February 17 to April 4, 2026. Students are advised to check the official channels for their results.

Checking Results via SMS

In addition to online checks, students can also receive their results via SMS. To do this, they need to format the message as PB12 and send it to the number 5676750.

Procedure for Online Results

To check the results online, students should visit the official PSEB website. From the homepage, they will need to click on the ‘Results’ section, then select ‘Class 12 Results’. After entering the required login details, students can submit the information to view their results on screen. It is recommended to download and save the result for future reference.

Important Notes on Results

The results available online are provisional. Students are required to gather the original marksheet from their respective schools once it is released. It is important for candidates to verify that all details on their results are correct, as these will be necessary during the college admission process.

Use of DigiLocker

This year, students can also check their results through DigiLocker. This provides an additional platform for easy access to their examination results.

Changes in Evaluation Process

The current evaluation system involved checking answer booklets through a digital process, known as the on-screen marking system. This method was adopted to expedite the correction process, as the software automatically calculates marks. Board officials noted that this approach increased fairness, accuracy, and speed in evaluating answer scripts, especially since each answer script was assigned a unique QR code.

Measures Against Malpractices

To prevent malpractices during the examination, the PSEB deployed approximately 384 flying squads along with special surprise visit teams. In addition, Section 144 was enforced within a 100-meter radius of the examination centers. The board also introduced the MATQ app to enable real-time tracking of question papers, further reducing the risk of question leaks.
