The Realme 16T is anticipated to be launched soon as the successor to the Realme 15T. Prior to its official unveiling, the device has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing some of its key specifications.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Realme 16T is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, which might represent a downgrade from last year’s Realme 15T. Details regarding the RAM and operating system were also suggested in the listing.

An unannounced Realme smartphone, identified by the model number RMX5268, was discovered on the Geekbench website. This model is believed to correspond to the Realme 16T. The benchmark entry indicates that the phone will operate on the Android 16 operating system and utilize a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The listing shows 7.45GB of RAM, which is likely to be marketed as 8GB. Performance benchmarks indicate that the Realme 16T achieved 784 points in single-core tests and 2,007 points in multi-core tests.

Details reveal that the device is equipped with a MediaTek MT6835 chipset, featuring two high-performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz and six cores at 2.00GHz. These specifications are associated with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

If the Realme 16T is indeed equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, it will represent a reduction in performance capabilities compared to the Realme 15T, which is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max system-on-chip (SoC).

The Dimensity 6400 Max chipset operates at a base frequency of 2GHz, with a prime CPU core reaching up to 2.50GHz. It is important to note that the Realme 16T will likely position itself below the Realme 16, which is expected to utilize the more powerful Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset.
