Asha Bhosle, the celebrated Indian singer, passed away at the age of 92 due to multi-organ failure on Sunday. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai a day before her demise, suffering from a chest infection and exhaustion.
According to her son, Anand Bhosle, the last rites will take place on Monday. He informed the media gathered outside the hospital that people could pay their last respects at Casa Grande, Lower Parel, starting at 11 am on Monday. The cremation is scheduled for 4 pm at Shivaji Park.

Asha Bhosle is recognized as one of the most versatile voices in Indian cinema. She successfully emerged from the shadow of her late elder sister, Bharat Ratna recipient Lata Mangeshkar, and established a unique space for herself in the realm of Hindi playback singing.
Over her remarkable eight-decade career, Bhosle recorded approximately 12,000 songs, a feat that earned her a Guinness World Record. Her singing journey began at the age of 10 when she recorded her first song in 1943 for the Marathi film Majha Bal.
