The Punjab Secondary Education Board (PSEB) has officially announced the results for the Class 8 board examinations for the year 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage is reported at 96.51%.
Students and parents can access the results through the official PSEB website at pseb.ac.in.
Top Performers
Among the standout performers, Tamanna, daughter of Narinder Kumar from Saraswati Senior Secondary School in Jaito, Faridkot, achieved a remarkable score of 600 out of 600, thus securing a 100% result.
The girls’ category recorded a higher overall pass percentage of 97.74%, compared to the boys, who achieved a pass percentage of 95.42%.
Examination Statistics
A total of 262,996 students appeared for the Class 8 examinations, out of which 253,789 students successfully passed.

To download the Class 8 board examination result, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website pseb.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, click on “Middle Examination Result-February 2026.”
3. Enter your roll number or name and click on “Get Results.”
4. The Class 8 board examination result will be displayed on the screen. You can then download and save it for your reference.
